How we’ll travel in 2025: Slower safaris, active expeditions, sober escapes, and ‘skip-gen’ gatherings

The way we travel is constantly changing, and by 2025, we’ll finally see a settling of the shift that many attribute to new priorities in a post-pandemic world.

The hustle of counting countries and ticking off landmarks has lost its sheen. No one cares how many countries you’ve visited or kilometres you’ve flown.

Instead, industry experts suggest travellers are craving something richer and deeper. More travellers want to immerse themselves in an experience that lingers; they’re more interested in returning home with a story worth telling rather than one of two dozen selfies barely worth posting.
