I’m a South African journalist covering travel, investigations and the messy space where the internet and facts colide.

I’ve written for various publications, including News24, Financial Mail, and Business Insider, reporting on everything from airline economics and consumer travel to disinformation networks and online and political claims that don’t stand up to evidence.

In 2025, I helped establish South Africa’s only full-time Disinformation Desk at News24. My work there earned two Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards - one for Innovation in Journalism, uncovering an anonymous Indian fake news ring, and another for Politics, for a body of work debunking claims about land expropriation in South Africa.

I’ve also led award-winning commercial content projects for global brands and have a good appreciation for both editorial rigour and how audiences actually read.
