I'm a South African journalist based in Cape Town, covering travel, investigations, disinformation, and artificial intelligence in Africa. My work appears in News24, Financial Mail, Business Insider, and other leading publications.

My travel writing combines first-person reporting from across Africa, Europe and beyond with consumer and industry analysis.

In 2024, I won a regional Vodacom Journalist of the Year award for an investigation into price matching among South Africa's largest online retailers.

The following year, I founded South Africa's only full-time disinformation desk, at News24, and continue to lead it. In my first year of reporting on disinformation, I won two Vodacom Journalist of the Year awards: one for an investigation that exposed a global fake-news network and another for a body of work on disinformation spread about and from South Africa.

I also produce commercial content for selected global brands.
