I’m a South African journalist covering travel, investigations and online disinformation.

I’ve travelled extensively to produce first-person narratives from destinations across Africa, Europe and beyond, alongside uncompromising reporting on the realities of modern travel. My work regularly ranks among the most-read travel stories nationally, combining lived experience with clear-eyed consumer and industry analysis.

In 2025, I established South Africa’s only full-time Disinformation Desk at News24. That work won two Vodacom Journalist of the Year awards - for investigative reporting that exposed an anonymous global fake news network, and for a body of work examining claims about land expropriation. In 2024, I received the same award for an investigation into price matching among South Africa’s largest online retailers.
